SNEAK PEAK TIME!!! Here is the prologue to Book 2 of the series!
Prologue
A conscience is defined as the inner sense of what is right or wrong in one's conduct or motives, impelling one toward right action.
In contrast, a sociopath is defined as a person with a psychopathic personality whose behavior is antisocial, often criminal, and who lacks a sense of moral responsibility or social conscience.
It is impossible for science to prove that every individual is born with a conscience, and that a person cannot form a conscience later on in their life. So, who is to say what transforms a young person from a sociopath into a self-reformed adult with a newly found respect for what is good and righteous?
Perhaps love? Perhaps maturity? Can this even happen at all?
Or … perhaps it is a façade created by someone who just wants to rewrite the past…
